TESOL-direct Course Fees & Refund Policy

Refunds

All our courses have a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you return your course within 21 days there is a 100% refund. For returns within 22-30 days, there is a £30 administration fee per course. If you are not completely satisfied with your course you can contact the office or your tutor and request a refund. Refunds will normally be made within a couple of days. If materials have been sent out by post, you will have to return these before a refund is made. Damaged materials may result in a reduced refund.

Continuation Fee

All our courses are estimated to need between 65 and 150 hours of study, depending on the course chosen, and should normally be completed within 12 months of enrolment, subject to individual circumstances. TESOL Direct reserves the right to require an additional fee where students need to continue their course beyond one year.

TESOL Direct Data Protection Policy

Introduction

TESOL Direct abides by UK and EU data protection laws which state that
personal data shall be:

  • processed fairly and lawfully;
  • obtained for a specified and lawful purpose and shall not be processed in
    any manner incompatible with the purpose;
  • adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purpose;
  • accurate and up-to-date;
  • kept for no longer than absolutely necessary for the purpose;
  • processed in accordance with the students’ rights;
  • kept safe from unauthorised processing, accidental loss, damage or
    destruction.

Staff responsibilities

TESOL Direct staff will ensure that:

  • all personal information is kept securely;
  • personal information is not disclosed either orally or in writing, accidentally
    or otherwise to any unauthorised third party;
  • any personal banking details received will be deleted once payment has
    been processed;
  • in the event that fees are unpaid, TESOL Direct may withhold enrolment,
    certificates, accreditation certificate or references.

Student responsibilities

All students will be expected to:

  • ensure that all personal information which they provide to TESOL Direct is accurate and up-to-date;
  • inform TESOL Direct of any changes to that information; for example,
    changes to their email or postal address.
