TESOL Teaching Practice in England

We now offer the opportunity to gain teaching experience at the Heart of England Language School, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. If you wish to spend some time doing teaching practice, you can do this during or after your TESOL-direct distance course.

You will be able to observe other teachers working with students, discuss various teaching and learning methods and alternative approaches that you might take to deal with different situations, or meet different learning needs. You will prepare and deliver lessons with support from experienced staff and get valuable feedback on your teaching.

Heart of England English language courses are set in the beautiful Heart of England. This area is famous for being close to the home of William Shakespeare, Warwick Castle, Oxford, Birmingham and The Cotswolds. It is also an easy train ride to London. Clients include schools, colleges and universities from all over Europe, Asia and South America.

About Heart of England Language School

The Heart of England Language School is an established school offering one-to-one tuition and small group courses for adults and children. With over 15 years of experience of running English language courses, their courses combine tuition and tourism in the beautiful settings of Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa. Their clients include many multinational companies such as airlines, car and electronics companies and schools and universities from all over Europe and Asia.

The English language courses are well organised and offer excellent tuition without being too expensive. The teachers believe in building confidence and offer a wide range of skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of English teaching techniques. They appreciate that everyone has different learning requirements so each package is individually designed for each student.

For over twenty years, Heart of England has provided group study programmes for groups of adults and children coming from abroad for 1, 2 or 3 week programmes. The programmes generally include tuition, accommodation and excursions.
