TESOL Teaching Practice in Barcelona
We are now working in partnership to provide you with the opportunity to do one week of teaching practice in Spain!
Teaching practice fees include observation of other teachers and your own class teaching, plus support and feedback from experienced trainers.
You receive first-class language teaching and teaching practice opportunities in one of Europe’s most vibrant and popular cities.
Based in a successful and long established language school, the teaching practice unit aims to give trainees the best possible introduction to teaching English.
Classes are held in one of Barcelona's most youthful and dynamic "barrios". The school is well-equipped and has a large common area for trainees, featuring computers with internet access, English and Spanish books and magazines, a photocopier, and coffee/drinks machines. In the area around the school you’ll find great bars, traditional tapas restaurants and a buzzing street life.
Accommodation can be arranged by the school and normally consists of a room in a flat shared with fellow students or with local people. Given the central location of the school, travelling time is normally minimal.
When not studying, students are encouraged to take advantage of all that Barcelona offers: a huge variety of bars, pubs and eateries; galleries and museums; iconic architecture, and of course the beaches and the Mediterranean.
The emphasis is very much on the trainees. Class sizes are small so that tuition is as personal as possible and all trainees receive as much help and assistance as they need. Students are given ample scope to practise and experiment in real classroom situations and are encouraged to adopt their own style of TESOL teaching.
