Korean schools offer the best employment package in South-East Asia. Standard one-year ESL contracts include:
- Monthly Salary: 1.9-2.1M KRW ($2250-$2500 CAD) minus 3% - 7% tax
- Free Accommodation: A single or shared furnished apartment is provided by the school
- Free Airfare: Round-trip airfare from and back to the teacher's home-country is paid by school
- Completion Bonus: one month salary bonus upon contract completion
- Medical Insurance: Half paid by the school
- Paid Vacation: 10 days + all national holidays paid
- Work-Visa Sponsorship

Nowon, Seoul, South Korea, (PlanetESL Position 29)
This is a very large and very well established school with an excellent curriculum. It is the number one school in the district, and has an excellent reputation both within the community and with foreign teachers. The accommodations are simply fantastic and the large staff of both foreign and Korean teachers gives new teachers great support and experience to draw from. Nowon is located in northeastern Seoul and is a very affluent area with a very large concentration of schools and foreign teachers. It is a beautiful community with lots of tress and parks in the backyard of a majestic mountain. Great shopping, restaurants and nightlife are never more than a few minutes away, and the rest of Seoul is easily accessible via bus and subway (lines 4 & 7).

We have known this school for five years and they have an excellent reputation. All teachers we have placed there have been happy and most have extended their contracts to a second and even third year. Mapo is a very active business district on Seoul that provides easy access to everything you need; great shopping, beautiful Yeouido Park for biking and recreation, non-stop nightlife at Hongik University and a plethora of both traditional and Western restaurants. Subway line 5 runs right through it and the rest of Seoul is easily accessible through it or by Seoul's vast bus network.

Incheon, South Korea, (PlanetESL Position 37)
This is a very well established school with an internationally recognized curriculum and textbook. Teachers who we have placed here have been very happy and extended their contracts to two and three years. Incheon is a rapidly growing port city that is the shipping and industrial center of Korea's western coast. In 2001, it opened the largest airport in the world and in June 2002, it hosted the World Cup soccer matches in conjunction with Japan. It is 45 minutes south-west of Seoul and very accessible by bus and subway.
