Who is this course for?

This course is for teachers of English who wish to work with children who are learning English as an additional or foreign language. This is a distance study course which can be followed flexibly and help you to develop the insights, skills and confidence to work with children from about 4 to 12 years old.

Course description

The course consists of about 270 A4 pages of advice and guidance for teachers and is packed with numerous practical ideas, insights, methods, strategies and techniques.

The course is not an introduction to TESOL in general and assumes that you are already qualified / experienced as a TEFL or TESOL teacher.

There are various tasks throughout the course as well as tutor-marked assignments. Interesting and imaginative activities that you can try out in class are provided and these will strengthen your understanding and confidence.
