This Certificate of Educational Studies (COES) course is accredited by the College of Teachers. If you wish to acquire teaching skills but do not have the time to spend on a longer programme, this is the one to choose.

This distance course provides an excellent foundation for people wanting to work alone or to support colleagues in class.
There are a range of tasks throughout the course (together with the answers at the end of each unit) to ensure understanding.
There are also regular assignments which will be marked by your tutor. The feedback on your assignments will be comprehensive and helpful. There are no examinations.
You will have 12 months to complete your course, although many people will complete it much more quickly.
