About TESOL-direct

We set up TESOL-direct to offer high quality, competitively-priced courses. Our certificate courses are offered by distance learning because this is the most cost-effective and flexible way to study.

All of our tutors are very experienced with at least 20 years of TESOL teaching and training behind each of them, and at least an MA/MEd TESOL/TEFL qualification.

A great deal of thought has gone into the preparation of the courses and we are proud to say that the quality and professional nature of our TESOL training is confirmed with accreditation by the College of Teachers.

We receive many students as a result of personal recommendations and we believe that you will be delighted with the quality of the course materials and the feedback, as well as the general support you receive from your personal tutor. The feedback from your tutor will be comprehensive and we encourage questions if any point is not completely clear.

We regard the feedback as a vitally important part of the course and we try to include as much useful feedback as we can. For example, with Module One, you might well receive six pages of thoughtful comment on your assignments.

We offer TESOL distance learning courses and not TESOL online courses. TESOL distance learning can provide comprehensive training but TESOL online learning cannot provide the coverage and depth which is required of such a course. Having to work online can be limiting and will not involve the same level of tutor feedback, and so we do not believe that it is appropriate for a TESOL training course of this nature.
